Just a random HELP

Just got a small incident added in chapter of my life today!
Two ladies, at R k Asharam metro station, in their 40s were helplessly looking for the someone, but it was just me and two or more other guys, all unknown to them, to get off the metro. Only i was happened to turn towards them to reach the place i was destined. One of the ladies said to other that bhaiya might help.
I was clueless about what they were talking.
One of them came forward and said they lost her 8 year old girl one station back as the girl was in her misfortune to miss to enter the train on time. Girl did not have the mobile phone either. She was helpless and did not know what to do?, where to go? And whom to ask?
First i myself was clueless, how can i help them? The 8 year old could be any place by now, between Jhandewalan and Noida City centre or between Jhandewalan and Vaishali. Still i asked her to keep calm and go to the security or metro police for the help.
"I cannot leave the place as we both are looking for her in every metro", said she.
I could understand their situation and what if the 8 year old come over when they were not around?
"okay you stay here, and i would bring the help to you..... Just stay here and keep calm." said I. With no clue, i was going to get a help and suddenly a thought struck me. I took my phone out of my pocket and called somebody to whom i was about to meet few minutes back, before the ladies stopped me.
It took for a while and the whole team of SCTOs and checkers was there, behind me to help them. They found the girl sitting somewhere at the very first place, Jhandewalan, waiting for her mother to come. Both the ladies said thank you to me and i thanked the people who came over to help. Again the mother of 8 year old thanked me, while other asked, "who are you?.... I mean you were able to bring the staff here to help us...... What you do?"
"I am just a person, who brings luck to people's life!" said I and left.

One life is not enough

One Life Is Not Enough

The book is about the real life events, lived by India's ex-foreign minister Mr. K. Natwar Singh. The book cover events from Pre-independence era(few events of Mr. Singh's childhood) till the Mr. Modi's swearing ceremony(when he invited SAARC nations to his swearing ceremony). once you cover at least two chapters, you would not resist yourself from completing the Book. However You would find that Mr. K. Natwar Singh was close to Nehru-Gandhi family and that brought fortune to his career as Indian Diplomat in INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICES. Book covers so many important events like Indo-china War, liberation of Goa from portugal and international politics thereafter, Nehru period and diplomacy, Indira's period and diplomacy, and Rajiv's time politics and diplomacy. Finally book covers the events of Natwar singh's political life and end of his political career after volcker case.
The Book gives insight on -
  • Indian Diplomacy from era of Nehru to Sonia gandhi
  • emergency period and criticism faced by India at National and International level.
  • Afterward of emergency.
  • Assassination of Indira and Rajiv, Causes and Afterward politics.
  • Dr. Manhohan Singh's time, when India's relation with other countries was on downward trend.
  • Volcker case- though the case was of corruption, but it also shows how our own friends in politics turn their face when odds are against us.
I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars and put it to good to be read category.
