What is a communalism?

Communalism is an ideology that leads to the destruction of any nation and blights the democracy as well.
Explained:
Liberal communalism: The ideologues of liberal communalism spread ideas like- interests of our people are different that of ineterts of those people. In other words, it is the ideology that says that the secular goals(non religious or non spiritual goals) of one religious community are different from any other religious community.
Communalism: It is the ideology that says that the secular goals of one religious community are different from other religious community. But also it extends itself and says that secular goals of a community which doesn't belong to our religion is antagonistic to the secular goals of our own community.
In short communalism in its any form creates a situation of “US vs Them”.
Sometimes we confused communalism with communal riots. Communal riots are not communalism, however it is the result of the communalism, which has been spreading in the region of communal riots. Keep it in mind, that communalism is an ideology which divides any society into numerous sub-groups. One sub-group hates other because of the hatred that has been escalated by the ideologues of communalism and the hatred goes to such an extent that even a small fight or any other petty issue can turn into a communal riots.
However, we should keep in mind that merely differences of religion doesn't lead to communalism, rather religious narrow mindedness does. (As the black people and the white people are the reality of life and they don't lead to racism, however narrow mindedness does lead to). As the differences among religions are reality, so do the religious issues. However, we can resolve all such religious issues by give and take methods, which itself would stop religion to become a way of political mobilisation. Religion should always be our private affairs and politics should not be mixed with it.
