How to Win an Indian Election

This book will let you know, “How political parties play their game”.
The book is written by Shivam Shankar Singh, who worked for BJP and congress for their election campaign.
Mr. Singh has an insider's view about the political parties and have mentioned it in the book.
AS per the book, political parties always find a group of people which can be easily manipulated through fake messages and already persistent division in Indian society such as religion, caste etc.
New trend is to target voters through fake what's app messages, social media posts. And most of us believe when we find a message or post which is based on the wrong facts but somehow somewhere support the feelings we already have. This whole thing make people vulnerable.
Your electricity bill shows your name, number and bill. Alone from your bill, a few things can be traced about you:
If some kind of messages will be send continuously to a person for around 3 months, then that person starts believing them.
In alone Karnataka assembly elections, BJP had 20000 whats group to spread such information/messages to influence voter. It does not mean that only BJP does it. All the political parties are doing this, but BJP is ahead in the race.
The book talks about the time period when the writer was working with Congress. They used the trick and changed the name of the CM candidate from Maharaja Amrinder singh to captain Amrinder singh, as Maharaja does not appeal to common man for vote bank but an Army captain does.
Now the trend can be seen of biased news channels. The Book has mentioned the name of news channels and tells why are they biased. E.g: If Republic bharat is pro-Bjp, there is a reason behind this. The biggest investor of Republic bharat is Rajeev Chandrashekhar, who is an MP from Bjp and the vice chairman of BJP south India. Again, i am saying, it does not mean that only BJP does it, all the political parties do it, but BJP is ahead in the race. (as writer has experience of working with mostly BJP except the Punjab elections, he is talking about his own insider's view).
The book has revealed many such truth, which any political party would not want you to know.
So, believe me, if you are thinking that you voted on the basis of what you think, you are so wrong. The reality is, you voted on the basis of what you are made to think.
